South Bay (Torrance) Market Data Report 2nd Quarter 2018 Report
The Torrance Market Data Report for the 2nd Quarter of 2018 shows a total of 322 homes closed escrow, compared to 372 homes that sold in the first six months of 2017. The average price for Torrance homes sold in these first six months was $1,044,517 compared to $931,143 in 2017, which is an increase of 12.2%. The average price per square foot during these first six months was $592 compared to $552 in 2017, which is a 7.3% increase. The area that sold the most homes during these six months was North Torrance West with a total number of 49 closed sales. Coming in second was Hollywood Riviera with 47 closed sales, and South Torrance had 34 closed sales.
Currently, Torrance has 118 homes listed for sale on the Multiple Listing Service. There are 79 single family homes for sale starting at $525,000 for a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1,022 square foot home, to $3,295,000 for a 3 bedroom/3 bath, 3,122 square foot home. There are 39 condo/townhomes for sale starting at $275,000 for a 1 bedroom/1 bath, 743 square foot condo, to $950,000 for a 3 bedroom/4 bath, 2,460 square foot condo/townhome.
